Now If Ive followed the procedure correctly, I have correctly implemented USB and USB power properties for my SMBIOS and they should be the exact same spec for all the USB ports. Now I dont wish to apply the instant wake patch as that will affect ALL USB ports, and the configuration I have the laptop in is that it is docked on a laptop stand in clamshell mode and I plug in a Charging cable, Mini Displayport and USB cable which are all next to each other conveniently on the right side of the laptop. Unfortuantely with this laptop in the BIOS there is no way to switch it off and having anything plugged into that port will not allow the laptop to sleep and causes instant wake. It is a USB Charge plus port dubbed by Asus which is always on despite the laptop being turned off or in sleep. However, I do have one problematic USB port on this laptop. On two of my USB ports on the left side, leaving any USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 device will still allow the laptop to sleep successfully and anything such as a keyboard or a mouse will wake the laptop from sleep as you would expect.
